Epic Beach Day - Cirque De Soleil Fail

Fourth of July was one of three good days we've had all summer weather-wise. Everyone made it to the beach in record time and in record good spirits. Check out the frolicking. Epic Beach Day, Epic Frolicking.

Ladies Weekend! Take Two!

En Route to the Club using the camera timer on the subway platform. Our gang invented signs.

This picture giving anyone else tattoo ideas?????

Confessing secret crushes...I also think Liz admitted to liking ham that night.

Honorary Lady, Alexa, steaming up the dance floor. She's such a bitch! She needs to WAX!!

Liz downloaded "Ladies Night" as her ring tone, thanks for footing that bill Liz's Dad!

Ladies compete to show-off their womanhood in the same way men compete to show off their manhood. Seeeeee?

No WAY! This picture EXISTS?!?!?

Ladies Weekend!

This weekend all the boyfriends were out of town and left us to our own devices those being our looks, cunning dispositions and thirst for adventure. Willing participants in ladies weekend included Pam, Liz, Emily, myself and visiting from Washington DC, my friend from home, Laura. And then some boys joined in the festivities as well:

Honorary girlfriend Kevie, smoked a regular tampon and it smelled like Hiroshima. Ladies! I can't believe we stick those in our bodies!!! Tampon revolution!

The Lil Kim remix of "Ladies Night" was our theme song but we only knew four of the words...I'll let you guess which ones.

Not everyone is training for the marathon like me, so some people had to take breaks...

Right after shot-gunning beers. Seriously, who parties this hard anymore?!?!

Ladies weekend would never be complete without cat attire and.....

Baby animals!!

On Sunday, Emily tried to say she had to go home and clean her room which is weaker than having to wash your hair. So Liz and I ganged up on her appropriately and that was that - before she knew it she had finished her first Bud Light. When our boyfriends got back, we were in rare feminist form (I actually don't really think you can call it that...remotely...at all...) But the form was definitely rare. I hope they never leave us alone again. PSYCH!!!

Its Music Video Friday!!!

The concept of smiling with your eyes should be translated into lip-synching for your music videos otherwise end up shit like this where you have three girls dressed as horseback riders from Connecticut waiting for the director to yell, "Thats a wrap!"

House Appropriations Committee: 1 Senate: 0

At the rest stop there was debate over whether we should buy a savory or sweet snack for the second half of the bus ride. We ultimately got both (Cheeze-its for me and some offensive sour candy for Emily). When we got to DuPont Circle, the Cheeze-its were only half eaten and Jas and Em encouraged me to leave them on the bus. It was like abandoning a litter of kittens and I had a hard time with that. Other DuPont Circle highlights: Larry Van Dyne's gold Saturn and convincing a crack head I was Emily's mother.

Right after the skies opened up, aliens landed.

Our entourage this weekend were these three hotties. Emily and I always walked ten paces behind for the muscular vistas.

Fat baby hands next to Lincoln's powerful mitt.

This is Ruthie's house! Kinda. This is where Ruthie is living this summer with two little dogs and two maids. We went there for some evening refreshments and lively discussion about the CIA's secret "program" and Jackie O's affair with RFK. I could take the following people in MUCH larger doses: Ruthie, Nate Dogg and Kilgore Bros Inc. It was like being in a Washington DC seminar class!

On Saturday we walked Emily's childhood dog, Roxy, who was alive and kicking at the ripe old age of 14! At first Roxy thought we were kidnappers but ultimately let us walk her to the cemetery and back.

Arlington! This is Emily's childhood home which is now leased out to renters. Larry drove us over there on Saturday to check out the digs while he did some chores. Can't you see Emily minus 18 years running around this yard???
