There was some SERIOUS decor in the dining room which went nicely with the cat pee smell.

I was worried we weren't going to have enough food - but the result was quite the opposite, we ate leftovers for the rest of the time we were there! I wish I had a pointer and I could talk you through all the sides. Most visible right in the middle is Jasie's corn pudding which was golden magic. The bowl in front is full of Jack's brussel sprouts - a ten for sure and then I think the only other notable thing on the table here is behind the candle - that was Tim's excessive yam mountain.

McGaff had us over for a Pats Pizza Party last night. Rumors of stadium seating drew me in but I was disappointed to find the same old layout. Stadium seating fail. JK. Mgcaff decorated by laying out all his Pats wear...I put one on and immediately felt like a dirty cheater.

These people look calm now, but just wait until next Sunday when the Seahawks beat them so bad they're gonna want to call it a season.

Seriously priceless. Who isn't happy on football Sundays?!?!!?!? Answer: Forbes. Its hard when you have no choice but to love a team determined to lose. At least you still have Bone Thugs and Lebron.

Oh MAN.....but in the end: Defeat. Sorry McGaff, but thanks for the memories!

Mac Off 09: Lets Make Some Bets!

Last night was Jas's Birthday, but it was also round one of the Mac-Off prelims and correspondents from several blogs were there to capture the action.

The competition was crushing a beer. Lets just say, we didn't think Good Mac had a "chance in hell" to beat Bad Mac at one of his favorite past times. At first, it appeared as if we were all right, but in the final sips, Good Mac came back from behind with a move Bad Mac deemed "The Squeeze" and clenched round one of the title.

I have a feeling Good Mac is one of those people with a million hidden talents - but only time and the roller blading competition will tell!

Time to pick your race horse and make some wagers!
