This Will Be The Picture On The Cover Of My Unauthorized Biography

How To Mix "The Deam"

If you order The Deam at a bar and you are given a blank look, supply the clueless bartender with the following instructions.

Ingredients:

1/2 cup whiskey of your choosing
2-4 ice cubes

Combine contents in measuring cup. For little deams, please do not exceed a serving of 1.5 cups. Family sized of 3 cups or more is for big deams only. Stir and sip. Ta da!

Its Music Video Friday!!!

A+ for all the musicians of the 70's that were able to gracefully transition into the 80's.

Deaming Down in Maine

Epic Maine trip. I want to write about some antics, but it was just so fun, I don't think any words could really do the trip enough justice.

Schwan Lake

Schwanny had us up to Kent, CT for a retreat weekend:

Saw this scene from the street and knew we had to take a right.

At First I didn't get it when McGaff asked if we liked his shirt..

When football wrapped up, there was croquet and tennis, and then later....some darker sports....

Jack was thorough with the rules. He has a lot of catch phrases, like "Have you ever heard of a silent O-N? Yeah, neither have I," and "Hit it harder than you think." I want a website where you type words and press enter and then the computer says the words in Jack's voice.

Have you ever seen croquet goths?! They can only come inside if they're invited!
Its like the corn and the buns are playing pig pile!

After dinner we retired to the salon for some song an dance. Jas led us in the sing along on the piano, but also we had liz on strings and Schwan and Tim switching off on percussion. Look at Jas! He is NACHO average guy!

Behind The Iron Curtain

This was the 'green room' for the air guitar contestants (carnies). Its like looking in the cockpit of an airplane!

Beach Odyessy

Got caught doing the old one swipe/two people on the subway en route to catch the ferry. Would've made it except for the fact that the cops took their sweet time giving us each $100 tickets. Fuuuuuuuuuck.

Took the A to the S to the Q22 instead.

2 and a half hours later and the beach was a sight for sore eyes.

Caught the ferry on the way home though and what a perfect mode of transportation it was! We got the seat next to the sign that said "captains only," DUH. The ferry is only $6 bucks and takes you from Riis Landing to Wall Street in about 45 minutes. It gets a little crowded but we accidentally got there a half hour early so our seats were the best in the house (boat?). So far that ferry ride is the highlight of the summer. That and the human pyramid.

Once we passed the Verrazano bridge, two jet skiers picked up the American Princess's wake and played in waves behind us. One was a real Evel Knievel and the other was a little more conservative. He chose to just enjoy the ride behind the boat and was there to rescue the dare devil when he wiped out.

I LOVE BRIDGES!*

And look who else decided to go to the beach this weekend!
