We picked that up in the summer of 1961 from a private collection, it was a magical time, drinking at the Cedar Bar with Bill de Kooning, Pollock, et al. Kerouac was around, oftentimes mumbling nonsensical verse and proving himself to be the drunkest of them all. There wasn't a day I didn't wake up in Washington Square, covered in pigeon shit, hungover with my mouth filled with rancid spittle.
