Second Annual Best Party Of The Year

Thank god Jim has a birthday every year and thank god he always celebrates with an inter-galactic Jersey-themed party.

This party will make you act very 'athletic' or like a 'baller.'

Couples in Jerseys is a cute look.  So are Jerseys over haute couture outfits, like the look Ren sports here.

 The Celtics Bunny!

 Birthday boy in his element.

Friendships were struck, rekindled, cherished.  Memories, made and then forgotten.  Thanks, Beer!

This was probably around 9pm.  Whoops!

Whats the point of wearing Jerseys if you don't take them off on the dance floor?  Things unraveled into a good old fashioned living room dance party as soon as the keg was tapped.  Shirts came off and songs were played on repeat.  Thanks again Jim!  Already looking forward to next year!

THIS THURSDAY

When I googled Rick's name, this was the only picture of him that comes up - what a gem! I suspect that as Van Horn takes off, there are going to be tons more going up on the internet shortly.

Anyway, this Thursday Van Horn is going to open its doors and Rick is going to show the world all the hard work he has been doing and basically what a bad ass he is. AND! I will be working.  Come visit, try a sandwich and shake his hand!!

Family Tree

The Kennedy's have been in the news a lot lately, for a ton of reasons.  Most notably, today is the 50th anniversary of JFK's inauguration speech (re: "ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country").  But also because of the death of Sargent Shriver (married to Eunice Kennedy), who was the founding director of the Peace Corps.  By extension, the Peace Corps have been in the news a lot because reports have been surfacing about the safety of woman volunteers.

ANYWAY. Its hard to keep all these people separate and to know who did what and who was married to who and who skied into a tree and died and so forth.  Time to stop your worrying - the NYT has created an amusing interactive Kennedy Family Time Line which straightens everything out for us.  Memorize this and wow people at your next dinner party!

READ THIS NOW!

Love this movie Christmas Vacation?  Fascinated by Randy Quaid's ridiculous year of being on the lam?  Wondering the symptoms of schizophrenia? Then this article is for you.  I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

A Scientific Chart

I love this.  Especially the retarded hair.  And I love the retarded hair because I feel like I see it everywhere in my neighborhood.

Korean Kristmas

The orphans gathered at Chris's house for a Korean BBQ Christmas dinner.  We ate 20,000 Weight Watchers points worth of Korean food.

There was so much food and so many people that we had to hit the buffet in waves.  I was in group two with all the other cool kids.

Some  shots early on set the evening's mood: Whiskey.

After dinner was a Lakers game.  I dont know what happened there because I was eating thirds, fourths, fifths....you get the idea.  I dont think they won though?  Adam had a court side seat.

Tired, Full, Supportive.  What use is a roommate if you cant put your head in their lap for a snooze?

AND THEN! The white elephant gift exchange.  The best part of the night.  So many gifts displayed appealingly on Dara's fully clothed (too bad!) body.  Hard not to get grabby.

Good Work, Dara!

Double Kurland Icing! So many activities this holiday season!

When everyone left, I took off my pants and watched The Proposal starring Sandra Bullock.  I had a seventh dinner around 1am and finally called it quits.

Now its on to Sober January!  Wish me luck!

Loot Meter!

Check out Loot Meter, Chris Smith's amazing new blog where he tracks all his purchases.  What a Champ!  This guy is so good at spending money, what an inspiration!
