Blind Item
Last night at a bar I met a musican named _______, who was requesting that the DJ play her music. She was like, "do you have any ______? Oh! Thats MY band!" As her own voice played through the speakers, she lectured anyone who would listen about HER lyrical masterpieces. Then she told me I looked like Courtney Thorne Smith. Go back to Williamsburg where you belong. Wait. We're IN Williamsburg.

Pint of Wine, Front Row at the RO-DE-OOOO!
Ever wonder what a rodeo at Madison Square Garden looks like? THIS! I attended with coworkers and I was the youngest in the group by at least twenty years. We drank Franzia out of clear, plastic pint glasses, and when Guliani did the opening ceremony, people who will "never forget" went absolutely nuts. Most of the people in attendance were not from New York proper, but instead from places like Kingston, New Jersey and most looked like parents of teens who went to juggalo conventions at night. I saw the following in abundance: pink cowboy hates with feathers, not ironic handle bar mustaches and Toby Keith T-Shirts. White Trash With Money Ya'll!

New York Cares!!!
**Note where the work of the non-caffinated painter ends, and the work of the over-caffinated painter begins.
On Saturday I "volunteered" and painted some veins on vines at a public school in Harlem. Though our task was described as "asinine" by other volunteers, I was thankful that I finally got show off some of my artistic talent. The girl's bathroom was amazing and pink and reminded me of my bedroom which put me at ease when I almost fell after underestimating the height of the toilets (so small! its so four year old dont have to climb!). Elementary schools are really colorful and easy on the eyes and for second I thought to myself, "I could spend some more time at a place like this. Maybe I will become a tutor for elementary school students..." But then I was like I hate kids. I think I will voluteer at an animal shelter instead.

And God Shines Down Upon Us
This is Pelham State Park on City Island. Dont be surprised by how remote it seems, its actually in the Bronx and is accessible by the 6 train. We traveled here on Sunday, for some beautiful vistas and good air quality. This pictures make me think of that Sting song that goes "...as we walk in fields of green..."

Next Stop: 38 Black Out Street, Karaoke Town, Lil Korea
We rented a Karaoke room in Korea Town as kind of a fun little birthday activity for plannie, because when you think about it, there really is no better way to possibly celebrate Plan's existence. It was kind of like a casino there as our room had no windows and no clocks. To give you an idea of what kind of warped world youre stepping into, Emily and I sang the same spice girls song twice with out noticing. Later that night when we were paying at the front desk, the Korean guy working the register told us "this place makes some people crazy." Case in point.
It was Plannie's Bday This Weekend!

Hello Kitty!
Kate came to visit this summer! To jog memories, she went AWOL in Korea for like, ten years and we had to travel up a river to retreive her. JKs! She came back on her own. To us. On August 6th.
Plan and I used her a visit as an excuse to __________________.
There were some other people there too. That day we didnt have any gas for the grill so we experimented with charcoal. Things were a bit dry, but one out of ten bbq's aint bad.
