McCarren Park is dead to me, Fort Greene Park on the other hand is stayin' alive. The south side is a great natural people watching amphitheater with a big hill that looks over a sporting area. We sat on the south side watching people make out while we feasted on chips and salsa. Half of Workout was there and they made some sweet outdoor recreation inspired tunes. Then we headed down the hill to the sporting area where we played soccer and catch and watched this little hipster fly a crazy kite that was like one long serpent-like kite made up of baby kites. The north side of the park faces some projects, and someone we were with pointed out that the park was gentrified and that all the BBQs happened on the north side, but when we went over there, the place was empty and there were no such grill sessions.
Oh! And I caught Tim scoping out this pic of Daisy Lowe wearing a skin colored thong. BARF.
