Washington DC is a lovely, lovely town. On top of all the funny little congresspeople running around, there is a prevalence of women's rugby players! On a nice stroll around the Tidal Basin on Saturday, We stopped for a break to take in a match between two teams comprised of shockingly spry females. Its safe to say I haven't seen a more aggressive group of athletes since the 06'Seahawks. The coach of the purple team was wearing a shirt that read, "Rugby: Its like a knife fight in a phone booth." And how!
